Klom / Clom?

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_Doctor_Who_villains#Abzorbaloff.27s_homeworld . So which would it be? Klom or Clom? ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 12:02, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Moved to Clom. ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 11:00, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Don't delete Klom

Our own article at Clom admits Klom as an alternate spelling, and I quite applaud that. Google returns 47K + hits for Klom + "Doctor Who", and we're at the very top of the list for Clom + "Doctor Who", which is always a bit of a worrying sign. Clom +"Doctor Who" has more hits, but then "clom" is an actual medical term. DWRG uses Klom. I think many an average user to the site will put "Klom" into the search bar.

Fact is, they're both correct, because the only in-universe source we have, as far as I'm aware, are two televised episodes, so we have only phonetics to go by. But even if an NSA somewhere mentions Klom and spells it Clom, a redirect from Klom would be useful because that would be a relatively obscure source.

Yeah I know. If it really is Clom, and we have this Klom redirect, then an editor could potentially link to an incorrect spelling. But the benefits of allowing the average user to search and find the right page outweigh the potential for misspelling, especially cause the misspelling isn't currently presented by the article as a misspelling, but an alternative spelling.

Is the planet in the infobox actually Clom? Couldn't it be anyone of the Stolen Planets? --MrThermomanPreacher 13:16, September 10, 2011 (UTC)

This needs to be moved back to Clom. Tardis1963 talk 12:07, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
