Herbert Bainbridge was the principal of Sayle College. He, like the teachers and students of the college, was under the influence of the inhabitants of a dark planet. He was unharmed when the college burned down, but was traumatised by the loss of contact with the aliens. (DWAN: The Dark Planet)
