Host body

A Host body is a body used/infected/possesed by another creature, who sometimes had no body of its own.

Host bodies

• Lady Cassandra used several bodies as hosts, including Rose's and the Doctor's when she left her own body. (DW. New Earth)

• Toby Zed and the Ood were possesed by the Beast. DW: (The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit)

• The Gelth took many corpses in Gabriel Sneed's mortuary as body hosts including Mr Redpath and his grandmother Mrs Peace. (DW: The Unquiet Dead)
