User talk:Jasontyler
Thanks for your recent edits! I'm Jimbo, your robot wiki representative! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is actually a great time to have joined, because we're now fully independent, and working on a host of new features!
We've got a couple of important quirks for a fan written wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English 'round these parts, so if you use another form of English, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:
- the listing of all our help, policy and guideline pages
- our Manual of Style
- our image use policy
- our user page policy
If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! — you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:
Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask an admin.
Please do not use the URLs to link to pages. Please use the title of the pages inside [[ ]]. --The Thirteenth Doctor 11:41, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

- Please do not edit another User page, this is seen and vandalism. Please leave a note on the User's talk page if you think anything is wrong, or they should add something to it.

- I am not wrong. It is a debated which of the Cybermen they are, so are presently classed as separate and not as the Cybus Industries creation.
- I haven't edited anything to do with them.
- Yes they are there, but the video games don't belong on the television sections.
- Don't tell me what to do. I do know.
- Sign your edits so that people can actually see who is talking to them. --The Thirteenth Doctor 21:45, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

- Please do not add the Ood to the Alien and enemies section. They are already in that section under the notes, with a source. Please do not add the Ood to the main section until they appear in an episode. Thanks.
Citing sources
Looking above I can see you've been asked before to cite sources. I know it was a while ago since you were told, but please remember to do so. Any unsourced information will be deleted and if you continue to add unsourced information, you can end up being blocked. The Thirteenth Doctor 11:57, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
A couple of things
I am sorry to say, but I had to revert your edits to the Series 6 page. Firstly, we do no link to IMDB. Ever. This is because it is very unreilable, and any on can add false information, whihc in turn we could add. Secondly, The Rebel Flesh/The Amost People and A Good Man Goes to War/Let's Kill Hitler as two different two parters, they are not a four partner. The episodes just have a cliffhanger that leads into the next episode just like the First Doctor episodes and Turn Left. Mini-mitch\talk 12:31, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
