User talk:Noneofyourbusiness
Thanks for your recent edits! I'm Jimbo, your robot wiki representative! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is actually a great time to have joined, because we're now fully independent, and working on a host of new features!
We've got a couple of important quirks for a fan written wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English 'round these parts, so if you use another form of English, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:
- the listing of all our help, policy and guideline pages
- our Manual of Style
- our image use policy
- our user page policy
If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! — you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:
Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask an admin.

Timeline
I asked if you had read and left an input at the discussion on the talk page, which you said you had.
If you want an apology, then I do apologise. I mean you no upset.
However, you cannot just presume an timeline. We an an encyclopedia, which mean facts, not best guesses. Just because you feel the "discussion is not going anywhere", does not mean it won't. You must add you thoughts and feelings about the matter on the talk page so we can get a discussion going and continuing until we come to a decision. At the rate your going with the timeline it like "He has a fez, he had a Fez in A Christmas Carol, it must take place straight after that". What evidence is there for this? Find a source that states when the timeline to backup your argument. MM/Want to talk? 15:59, October 5, 2011 (UTC)
The Sarah Jane Adventures and 2009
(I can't communicate on the 2009 discussion page, as the spam filter keeps blocking me for some reason) The Mad Woman in the Attic specifies Rani has GCSEs approaching, which are indeed end of term exams taken in the summer. No real comment on Maria's exams, as I don't actually live in the US. -- Tybort (talk page) 21:35, October 11, 2011 (UTC)
Timeline
Stop changing the timeline on pages, there have been forum discussions in the past about best to order these, using both in and out of universe sources. If you feel these should be changed, please raise it forums and never just go on a massive change that affects a policy just because you feel it should be different. MM/Want to talk? 13:32, October 12, 2011 (UTC)
- I never mentioned the talk pages, I mentioned the forums. If you want to chnage them, please raise a forum discussion. We have had several of these in the past, which you are changing. Please leave them as they are. MM/Want to talk? 13:39, October 12, 2011 (UTC)
