The Oil rigs were large vehicles that could move and drained Oil using tubes conected to the Oil wells., which was their sole purpose. They were used on the planet Boukon by Oil Corp, since the planet was full of oil. They had inbuilt laser weoponry to deter Pirates. Oil rigs were ofter keel-halled by pirates in such ships as the Black Gold. (DW: The Infinite Quest)
