I'm being deliberately provocative and controvertial here, but is this story 'canon'? Discuss!

Hmm, the more I think about it, the more it seems to qualify as a pastiche rather than a canonical television story. I'll be making the appropriate changes.

I'm not sure that I agree that it's a pastiche (though I know what you're getting at). I would suggest, due to its interactive nature, that it would be more appropriately categorised as a game (just like the various other Who computer games).

The first sentence of this seems especially troubling to me, as the story explains where Rose is. If anything, her absence helps to move this story towards canon, not away. It gives the Doctor motivation to look for a new companion. The adventure doesn't take place without consideration of Rose; it only occurs because she's gone.
