By the 61st century humanity possesed third generation terraforming technology, drone-based building and fast reproduction through progenation. During this era the New Byzantine Calendar was in use.

A joint human-Hath colonisation attempt of the planet Messaline turned into a short war lasting only seven days but many generations of clone soldiers. Eventually the survivors, with little memory of their roots, managed to come to a cease fire and start colonising. (DW: The Doctor's Daughter)

The placement of all this info in the 61st century is solely based on the assumption that the year 6012 in the New Byzantine Calender actualy corresponds with the same year in the modern-day Gregorian calendar, which may or may not be the case.
