Teleport pods were utilised by the Sontarans during the Sontaran invasion of Earth of 2009.
Locations
Teleport pods were located in the ATMOS Factory, Rattigan Academy and on the Sontaran Flagship. Transport was possible between all three. (DW: The Sontaran Strategem / The Poison Sky)
