The suspicion ray was a device created by the Mechanoids. It made its victims believe that its allies were its enemies. It was used against a Dalek on board the space station they had built for reaching Oric. The Dalek killed several of its kind before being captured. It was held on one of the Mechanoid Interceptors. (TV21: Eve of War)
