I've considered making pages for the alternate timeline Dalek invasions in DW: Day of the Daleks and VG: City of the Daleks, but the thing is, I'm not sure what to title them as. -- 22:54, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
- There isn't much of an 'invasion' in Day of the Daleks, by the time we get to see their timeline the Daleks have invaded and conquered, and they weren't ever defeated.
- Would articles about their respective timelines be better and be able to cover more than specific articles about the invasions? --Tangerineduel / talk 13:04, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Well, technically they were defeated by the timeline's undoing. I can sort of see what you mean by how the timeline pages might work better though, at least for Day of the Daleks. -- Tybort (talk page) 15:16, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
- By "in" Day of the Daleks, I mean more along the lines of "said in", "mentioned in", "prevented thanks to breaking the paradox in". Still might not be a valid reason to add, but my main suggestion for them is mostly for ambiguity between the two already recorded here. -- Tybort (talk page) 19:58, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, the reason I brought this up was related to Dalek history and its eventual fate of being an index. As Tangerine's already done this now, I feel like bringing the topic up again. Anyway, as an alternative, I can see how naming Day of the Daleks' timeline works as opposed to perhaps the name of the war or occupation. Maybe Alternative Earth (Day of the Daleks), as there's already a category by that name. -- Tybort (talk page) 14:34, January 19, 2012 (UTC)
- That could probably work, as can be seen with Dalek history the alternate timelines were the only things I wasn't really sure what to do with, and was just coming back to this discussion to post something like what you've said. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:44, January 19, 2012 (UTC)
