Main text most commonly uses list format (expressed with < ul> and < li> tags) for lists of 4 items or more. However, we seem to have shied away from using lists in infoboxes and in tables, preferring instead to separate items with a < br />, doing away with the dot in front of each line. I've seen such infobox lists stretch for over 20 items.
Did we ever reach a consensus on proper style for lists in main text, in infoboxes, and in tables?
