So here's my question ... what happened to Bob once tha Angel killed him in The Time of Angels? Once the Angel used Bob and reanimated part of him to use as its voice, were the Angel and Bob still distinct entities?

Anyway, Bob was still dead, so whatever happens to dead people (if anything) in the Whoniverse presumably happened to him.
Meanwhile, the reanimated part of Bob was essentially a tool--like a megaphone, or Steven Hawking's voice synthesizer, but more oomplex. Maybe more accurately, it was like a partially-sapient computer. But still, it's a tool being used by the Angel; they're separate entities, just like you and your megaphone or Hawking and his voice synthesizer.
It's a bit confusing, because the reanimated partial Bob speaks as if he were a person speaking on behalf of the Angels, and has some of Bob's consciousness. Angels don't speak, and this makes them very alien--they don't have a brain with speech centers, and don't think in terms of language. An Angel wouldn't use Bob to say, "I'm coming for you" as a translation of its own words, because it doesn't have any. The best it can do is to have Bob say, "The Angel is coming for you," in Bob's words. --Falcotron 15:49, May 4, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, I forgot to sign by mistake.
Anyway, thanks then. That was I was thinking. So I'd better have a go at clearing that up in the relevant articles. --Samoth 16:02, May 4, 2010 (UTC)
I'd explain the changes on the talk page of each article. And hopefully you can do so more clearly and concisely than I did. :) --Falcotron 16:27, May 4, 2010 (UTC)
