Vera Juarez appears in half of Torchwood: Miracle Day in a prominent role. She's not top billed for any of those five episodes, so does that make her a main character or a "featuring"? Or is it possible she only technically counts as main because of her joining Torchwood momentarily? Also, is there a reason why the infoboxes only make note of her in her first and final appearances? -- Tybort (talk page) 01:22, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
- Well, to be honest, I detected a strong drop-off in editor interest in Miracle Day episodes that was probably consonant with viewer dissatisfaction in the series. This is one of the reasons that there's a Torchwood television stories editing track — we needed to do something to get people editing these pages again. Therefore, the fact that you don't find the infobox listings satisfying has nothing to do with policy. It's just that they kinda got left unfinished.
- Also, the old form of the infobox didn't have two tiers; it was just {{{featuring}}}, which left someone like Vera in a weird place. Now that we can do both main and featuring characters, it's a bit easier.
- So I've gone through all 10 eps of Miracle Day and adjusted them for use with the new infobox. As you seem more interested in Torchwood than me, you may want to double-check the work. But I think I've got all the recurring characters in {{{featuring}}}, now. The tricky bit, which I'm not quite sure I did right, was {{{main character}}}. Dunno if I got rid of Rhys, Oswald and Jilly in all the episodes where they were wholly absent. I think so, but I'm not positive.

- Must be the only person round here who likes all four series, eh? It may take a while, given a number of factors: my currentish preoccupation with the Afternoon Play audios, LoveFilm Instant only streaming series 1-3 and my memory just not being as sharp on more recent stuff and episodes I've only watched once.
- So far as I can tell though, the episodes where Oswald's absent (The Middle Men, Immortal Sins) and are correct. Was sure Rhys was absent for at least one episode, though Rhys Williams - List of Appearances simply says he has brief cameos, so maybe that was it. -- Tybort (talk page) 16:37, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
- AKA an "achievement track". Like "Companions of the Doctor", "K9 TV stories", "Disambiguation pages" or any of the other things for which you can earn a prize in the Game of Rassilon.
