The Gloriana Scattering was a collection of rocks and rubble that concealed a secret. It was practically empty except for the remains of space ships and one entity, a giant spider crawling across a large web. It caught a ship, Black Horizon, when it tried to take provisions to a colony in need of supplies. (NSA: Web in Space!)
