The Nightmare Child was a mysterious entity which existed near to the Gates of Elysium, during the Last Great Time War. It had destructive and dangerous powers capable of destroying a Dalek ship. Davro's damaged ship during the Battle of Elysium was damaged and flew into the jaws of the Nightmare Child, destroying it and Davros.
However Dalek Caan who escaped from the Doctor in 1930 using an temporal shift flew into the jaws of the Nightmare Child, saved Davros and likely destroyed the Nightmare Child.
