Tardis:Guide to individuals categories

There are several individuals categories used on the TARDIS Index File, the Doctor Who universe Wiki. Most individuals on this wiki will usually be categorised further down into subcategories of the Category:Individuals category. It is preferable to have as few individuals within the main Individuals category as possible, however some individuals may not be able to be sorted further into subcategories.

This is the guide to some of the major subcategories found within the Individuals category on this wiki and to give a clearer idea of the categories, it should also illustrate and allow for greater utilisation of the subcategories when editing articles.

Individuals by association

Within this category are individuals categorised by their affiliation to a group or individual such as;

Within this category individuals are categories by their membership to or within groups that are formed for a common purpose. Such sub-categories within this category are:

Individuals by location

The individuals listed in the subcategories within this subcategory are categorised by the location they inhabited such as:

Individuals by profession

This category lists professions that individuals have held; these are all subcategories. A selection of which are;

Individuals by species

This category has subcategories of individuals grouped by species such as;

Individuals by time period

This category has subcategories of individuals grouped by what time period they inhabited. All except Far future individuals are listed by century.

Individuals by sociological traits

Some categories have individuals sorted by certain sociological traits they had such as;

Certain subcategories are specific to traits related to biology or external intervention such as:

Individuals by participation

These categories and their subcategories list individuals who have participated in an event or form of travel.

Other individuals subcategories

These are other subcategories within the individuals category.
