Apocryphal Information?

"It has been stated that the enormous power source required for its weapon resulted in high levels of radiation being released and altering the structure of the Dalek's brain, resulting in insanity. It was only used in extreme situations and was unofficially known among the Daleks as the Abomination. (PROSE: Remembrance of the Daleks)

This implies the existence of only one Special Weapons Dalek."
Could there be a possible leap of logic here? I don't see how a high power source would mean there is just one, same with the insanity inducing effects. I assume that the 'it was only used in extreme situations' is how this assumption is made, and I admit that it is a fair reason not to have many of them at hand. I do not however, see this as an instant contradiction towards the existence of other Special Weapons Daleks.
However, if this article is accurate, then the only time multiple Special Weapons Daleks were used at once would be in Fire and Brimstone(DWM). But I have never read this story myself, so I am unable to confirm or deny as to wherever the incident could have been considered 'extreme' enough to merit such risk, wherever it presented any possible harm to any other Daleks, or as to wherever it could have chronologically occured after the Shoreditch Incident from the Dalek's point of view (in which they could presumably have since installed countermeasures against the fault).
Of course, I'm not sure as to wherever this is sufficiant in the eyes of this Wiki's policy, if not then I apologise for bringing it up.
