Peckham was that part of London in which the Powell Estate was located.The Tenth Doctor once claimed that his accent came from "the Powell Estate in Peckham", which made his conversant — silent film star, Archie Maplin — reveal that he grew up in the district. (COMIC: Silver Scream)
