Rosemary was a fortune teller and a friend of Barbara Wright. She read Ian Chesterton's palm and found that his lifeline was shattered across time and space. She warned him that he would be going on a long, perilous journey, but Ian refused to believe her. (PROSE: The Splintered Gate)
