Given the events of Journey's End, and the fact that she is not featured in the other two novels being released concurrently (The Eyeless and The Story of Martha), it is anticipated that this may be the final novel to feature Donna Noble. In July 2008 it was announced that the first three novels of 2009 will not feature Donna Noble.
