The Morass (Kiss of Death) was an entity that inhabited the ice below Turlough's grandfathers castle. It infected the Fifth Doctor, which made him near noises. It created ice replicatant versions of Nyssa and the Doctor. It was a sentient security system. (AUDIO: Kiss of Death)
