Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

• a list of people whose job it is to help you

Recent edits

Hi! Thanks for your recent edits to the wiki. However, before you continue creating or editing pages, please take a look at some sample pages on the wiki to see what we include in articles and how we write articles.

Some things to point out:

• All articles must have at least one category. You can find out more about categories at Tardis:Categories and Tardis:Categorisation.
• If a character/object appears in only one story, don't put their story in the "appearances" field of the infobox. Instead, put it in the "only" field.
• Check through your edits to see if any of the nouns can be wikified. We don't want to have any articles that link to nothing.
• Always include the story name(s) in the body of the article, regardless of whether you've already included it in the infobox. Check out any article on the wiki for the format if you're not sure.
• A helpful piece of advice is to always use the "preview" button before you press the "publish" button. This way you can catch any mistakes.

Categories

Hi! I had to remove the "Leela audio stories" and "K9 audio stories" categories you added to several audio pages. Those categories do not exist on this wiki. You can find a list of categories at Special:Categories. If you want to use a category that does not exist, it must be created, but in general we don't have categories for companion stories (Romana, the Brig, and Sarah Jane are exceptions). Thanks! Stubs

Hey. While it's great that you'reclassifying the unmarked stubs, please be aware that we use templates for that; we don't actually add categories. {{Audio stub}} will both add the page to Category:Audio stubs, but also make a visible mark on the page for all to see. The templates are always the category name, but with "stub" in the singular.

I repeat, please do not outright add stub categories, but instead add stub templates. Thank you.
