On 25 June 2010, the Eleventh Doctor began his travels with Amy Pond. When they later returned, Amy attempted to seduce him and they picked up Rory Williams at his stag party. (TV: The Eleventh Hour, Flesh and Stone, The Vampires of Venice) Amy and Rory got married the day later, the day the universe fell apart. (TV: The Big Bang)
On 25 June 1906, Edward Grainger was born to Lawrence and Mary Grainger. During childbirth, Edward's mother and family were under attack by a demon. The demon wanted to kill Edward to unravel the Doctor's timeline. The Eighth Doctor and the future Edward banished the Demon before it caused any harm to the newborn Edward. (PROSE: Prologue)
The Eighth Doctor, along with with companions Samson and Gemma Griffin, later visited Grainger on his 50th birthday in 1956 to get rid of a ghost which had been haunting the family. (PROSE: Dear John) In 2006, the man died in his sleep on his 100th birthday. (PROSE: Forgotten)
On Monday, 25 June 2007, at one minute past ten in the morning, Donna Noble made a seemingly tiny decision by turning left, ignoring her mother's pleas to work for Jival Chowdry. In the long run, this decision saved the Earth several times over. Her job at H.C. Clements resulted in her meeting the Tenth Doctor and saving his life beneath the River Thames.
A Time Beetle on Donna's back later changed history, and made Donna turn right instead. This meant her never joining H.C. Clements and thus never meeting Lance Bennett and becoming engaged to him. Instead, she took a job as Jival Chowdry's personal assistant. Six months later at Christmas, the Tenth Doctor died because of this and the whole world turned to chaos.
To undo the damage, UNIT had Donna go back in time to make her younger self turn left. She jumped in front of a truck, the accident causing a traffic jam that encouraged Donna to go the other way. (TV: Turn Left)
