Can anyone provide a screencap of where Saxon's website says she was Prime Minister at that time? I just watched the episode and didn't see anything like that, and there are other indications that she lost power much earlier and there was another prime minister in between Harriet and Harold. In particular, Vivien Rook tells us that Saxon first became real "about 18 months ago, right after the downfall of Harriet Jones", when he became minister in charge of launching Archangel; he becomes Defense Minister at the time of "Love and Monsters" (according to the newspapers; this is the March after "The Christmas Invasion"); and Jack tells us that he first became prominent when he took credit for destroying the Christmas Star (a year after "Christmas Invasion"). This article is the first thing I've ever seen that supposes Harriet was in charge for more than half a year or that she was the one Saxon defeated (and I've spent a fair few hours recently studying timelines). But I don't want to make that type of change without at least seeing what evidence the writer was going by. Bedawyn 14:00, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Death

I'm deleting her death date on the page as we actually don't know for sure she is dead. If the Daleks did shoot her how did the screen switch off at the same time. That's because the Daleks destroyed the Sub-Wave network and then we don't know what happens to Harriet Jones. Michael Downey 22:17, October 22, 2009 (UTC)

Also if you watch the episode in which she apparently 'dies' the Dalek's weapon turns a little, as if to point to the subwave network, and not Harriet. --81.98.0.33 16:24, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

The producer confirmed her dead a while ago. I don't remember exactly what it was on, but it was probably commentery or something like that. One of them only slihglty aknowledged that she may have survived and could return in the Davies era, but everyone in general who make the shoadw confirmed her dead. If she doesn't appear in The End of Time part 2 (there is a rumour she will), we can safely call her dead because we'll never see her again.

There is only that tiny spark of possibility that they may have left her story open for the end of the Russell T. Davies era, but if she doesn't appear, we can go back with her confirmed death by the producers. Delton Menace 16:39, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Since this is supposed to be an in-universe article, I'm not sure anything the show's producers say is really relevant, except for the Behind the Scenes section. If we don't see it on screen, it's not really confirmed. I'd suggest going with "presumed dead"; that leaves enough leeway for both options. --Bedawyn 17:33, January 2, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, following the events of Series 5, where it's strongly implied that the Dalek invasion was written out of history by the Time Crack, is it possible that Harriet could now be alive again? 82.2.136.93 12:34, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Still dead?

The Dalek invasion has now been completely erased from time by the Time Crack. Could Harriet now be still alive? If the Daleks never attacked, they never exterminated her.EJA 13:21, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
