A kontron tunnel was a time corridor in space as opposed to the Time Vortex. Kontron crystals could be found in these tunnels, possibly due to their existing in physical space. The Timelash was a kontron tunnel utilised by the Borad, though whether he created or discovered it is unknown. (TV: Timelash)
