BBC News (24) has just given over nearly 5 minutes to the announcement later today of the new Doctor in a special Doctor Who Confidential. They chatted to Sylvestor McCoy for his thoughts on all sorts....Billy Connelly indeed!

Hmm...
I know 26 is pretty young, but maybe what Doctor Who needs is someone to bring out the youthful side of the Doctor, and maybe in this respect, Matt Smith is an ideal choice for the Eleventh Doctor. Bad Wolf Bad Wolf 18:36, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

He looks arrogant and smug, I hope he comes off as alien much like the First Doctor was, I also hope he brings some more mystery to the character Bigshowbower 12:08, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
