Caroline Lake was the wife of Jackson Lake. when she, her husband and her son came to London and were aprehended by the Cybermen because they were in posession of a large amount of Infostamps. She was killed in the struggle and the grief drove Jackson so mad he entered a different personality (The Doctor).
