Methieu was a man who came from Belgium and helped Martha Jones in The Year That Never Was. He first met her in a town that was being attacked by the Master's new Government but he took her to a refugee camp where she was taken to saftey. He then told Martha about Brigadir Erik Calvin an ex UNIT officer and the son of Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart. (TDA: The Story of Martha)
