Galatron Mining Corporation is a company run from Thoros Beta. Sil, one of their representatives, was sent to Varos in order to collect Zeiton-7 at a low price, though thjey were also willing to branch out into television programs from Varos. Though Zeiton-7 is an rare element, the Galatron Mining Corporation claimed that is was very common and thus got it at a low cost. Galatron Mining Corporation also had a standing mercenary force to "coerce" uncooperative business groups. (DW: Vengeance on Varos)
