The Umorgus were an alien species that tried to invade Earth in 2010. They contacted Ian Webster, who wanted to take revenge on his collegues and the people of Bannerman Road for being bullied. Ian Webster helped them to take control over his collegues and the people of Bannerman Road. Later he recognised that the Umorgus wanted to invade Earth and wanted to controll the whole human species. Sarah Jane and Luke Smith could stop the Umorgus, who escaped to his space ship.
