Jonah Cosgrove was the deputy head of Eurozone Secret Service, although he still defined himself as being loyal to England above all else. While attempting to acquire a time machine, Cosgrove was killed when he jumped off a cliff after a miniature time machine that the Eighth Doctor had just thrown over the cliff; although he caught it before hitting the bottom, the machine had failed to recharge to a level that would have allowed him to time-travel.
