Lady Sylvia Thaw assisted in creation the rejuvinating device used and built by Richard Lazarus, she had intended to use it for herself. She was also Mr Saxon's representative on the project. She belived she was not just a co-worker and she loved Lazarus. When Lazarus mutated after his rejuvination went faulty he drained the life out of Sylvia as he needed the energy for the mutation to stabalise. (DW: The Lazarus Experiment)
