Dalek Section Leaders were Daleks in charge for scientific researches and Dalek operations on many planets the Daleks conquered. a Section Leader was tasked on Spiridon to experiment invisibility before it was killed by a Dalek Supreme for failing to meet it's mission's objectives. (TV: Planet of the Daleks) a Dalek Section Leader was seen on the planet Galacton. (PROSE: Mission to Galacton)
