It is only referred to as 'The Company' in the audios, but it is not the same as The Company controlled by the Usurians. Or is it?

The Company ran the sandminers on Kaldor. The wealth they generated made the Company the most powerful organisation on the planet, making it the effective government. The Company was controlled by the Founding Families. (AUDIO: Occam's Razor)
