The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd was a work of detective fiction by Agatha Christie. Christie had written the novel by 1926 when she attended a garden party at the home of Lady Eddison. Since Lady Eddison had been reading the novel when the alien biology of her long-lost son, Reverend Arnold Golightly, was first awakened in a moment of anger, in this moment Golightly accidentally received the works of Agatha Christie as his style of the murders. The Eighth Doctor owned a signed first edition printing of The Murder of Roger Ackroyd which was missing the last page. (AUDIO: Storm Warning) It was a birthday present from Samson and Gemma Griffin. (AUDIO: Terror Firma) Curiously The Doctor complains that he'd never know who the killer was, even though the murderer's identity is revealed before the final page.
