Kamishi

The Kamishi was a primordial race that roamed the universe during its early times.

It had a complex caste system. One of the castes, called Sanukuma, were world seeders. Using their vessels called SporeShips this caste has created and destroyed lives before they were lost in time. After billions of years they were awakened by the Last Great Time War. A plan was developed to wipe their galaxy clean for them to start over with their reign using their ships to destroy inhabited planets. However, their plan was stopped by the Eighth Doctor with the help of River Song by sending them back to the beginning of the universe.AUDIO: The Rulers of the Universe

The Tengobushi were a lower caste of Kamishi. Unlike the higher castes, they could not change their appearance at will and were humanoid in appearance. A group of Tengobushi once arrived on Earth to retrieve a Kamishi artefact. They were led by Dokan, a Kamishi of higher caste. AUDIO: Death in Geneva, The Battle of the Tower
