The Alpha Male was the leader of the sentient Canines in Prague in 2406. While he was in the process of interrogating the Fourth Doctor and Leela, K9 Mark I and Ben Gay-ul arrived, incapacitating the guards. Leela grabbed the Alpha Male and ordered him to release the human slaves. (PROSE: The Dogs of War)
