Sul Starren was an employee of the Twin Banks on They're All Nouns You Idiot.
In 2594, Starren was going to commit suicide by dropping from the anti-gravity conduit connecting the Bank's two skyscrapers a hundred and eighty-seven storeys above the ground. A stranger appeared to him, convincing Sul to make some short-term investments. If they did not turn out well in a week, the stranger said he could still kill himself.
Starren decided to do what the stranger had told him and became instantly wealthy. Unfortunately, he unintentionally revealed an important Bank secret, and was murdered a week later by a corporate assassin. (PROSE: Ghost Devices)
