It also saw the beginning of the Industrial Revolution on Earth, which may have been inspired by Azal ("The Daemons"). Weed Creatures were first seen along the North Sea coast at this time ("Fury from the Deep"). The Doctor ran Taunton for two weeks in this century and complained that he'd never been so bored ("The Highest Science").
