Introduction to the Night was a multi-part story that sandwiched Doctor Who Night of 1999. It featured Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor.

His being the Doctor was hinted at via him saying, "When I was Paul McGann", recalling the Doctor's adventures and inhabiting his TARDIS, but ultimately confirmed by Baker himself.[statement unclear]
