A Tentrax was a creature from somewhere in the Mutter's Spiral. It was a horned reptile with green plates for skin and claws. It was noted for its cruelty, which was why the Daleks captured one. They planned to isolate this quality and apply it to a new breed of Daleks. (COMIC: The Dogs of Doom)
