Flat Holm

Flat Holm (Ynys Echni), is an island 5 miles off the coast in Wales. It is South-South-East of the Cardiff Bay. The island was used by Jack Harkness to care for and keep safe, those who were taken in by the Cardiff Rift and who were scarred, physically and mentally. When he took over Torchwood 3 in 2000, he found two survivors in the vaults, so he created a building in which they could be cared for, calling them experiments which had gone wrong to the carers.
