Professor Penelope Holroyde was the captain of SS Howard Carter, a class 2 exploration cruiser. While exploring with her crew on a muddy planet, the Ocean Peninsula around their location suddenly began to flood. The Eleventh Doctor helped to jump-start their ship from the planet's surface using his TARDIS. (PROSE: Shroud of Sorrow)
