Nicholas Copernicus was a Renaissance astronomer famous for his theory of heliocentrism. (TV: City of Death, AUDIO: The Galileo Trap) He was dismissed by his contemporaries, but Galileo Galilei was later inspired by his work (TV: The Lost Boy, AUDIO: The Galileo Trap).
