Raintree and Brogan were criminals who worked for Percival Ross. They killed Cherry and brought Lucy to Ross as the first subject for his hybridisation experiments. They brought other children to him for transformation, and provided security for Tobias Breckinridge's factory. Raintree was killed when Edmund Ross smashed his head with a walking stick.
