In 2048, a pilot flew a helicopter which took visitors to and from Snowcap University. He initially refused to take Quinn Norton, a student exposed in the Antarctic ice, as his helicopter was already past the weight limit. He eventually allowed Quinn on board, when the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald elected to stay behind so he had enough fuel to fly to McMurdo Base. Shortly after taking off, however, the helicopter crashed, killing everyone on board, including Quinn and the pilot. (COMIC: Blood and Ice)
