A scientist participated in the Cerebravore experiment.

She lived on a planet whose name the Tenth Doctor never learned.

She designed a dimensional bridge, intended to unleash Cerebravores on their neighbours. The bridge drew its power directly from the interdimensional nexus so that it could stay in operation even in case of the defeat of its creators. The Doctor commended her for a conceptually brilliant and elegant design.

The scientist herself was not interested in the military applications. She wanted to use the bridge for exploring, but had to follow the orders of her superiors. The bridge was not supposed to connect her planet with Earth.

She also warned her superiors that there were too many unknowns in their attempt to create a telepathic weapons. Her warnings have been ignored and their world was overrun by Cerebravores.

When the Doctor emerged from the dimensional bridge, she was possessed by one herself, but was freed by the Tenth Doctor. During this short reprieve from Cerebravore possession, she told the Doctor the tragic story of her world and her people and helped the Doctor to reprogram the holographic mainframe functions in order to reflect a recursive inflow helix back on itself, thus, destroying the bridge and trapping Cerebravores on their planet of origin.

The Doctor wanted to take her with him to Earth, but a Cerebravore took possession of her again, and the Doctor was forced to trigger the destruction of the bridge and escape with his life, leaving her possessed on her planet, forever lost. (COMIC: Revolutions of Terror)
