R. Asquith
General Asquith was the Chief of the Defence Staff, the most senior military officer in Britain at the time of the Slitheen alien landing in 2006.
Summoned to Albion Hospital, Asquith is shocked by the Space Pig recovered from the crashed spaceship that lands in the Thames, wondering why a human animal would be in an alien craft He later arrives at Downing Street to brief the Acting Prime Minister, Joseph Green. Asquith, appalled at Green's leadership threatens to remove Green from command and put the country under martial law. Green and his fellow colleagues, Margaret Blaine and Oliver Charles reveal themselves to be Slitheen in disguise and kill General Asquith, using his skin as a disguise for the Slitheen who occupied the body of Oliver Charles. As Asquith, the Slitheen has control of the British military.
Harriet Jones, an MP who was hiding in the Cabinet Room witnessed Asquith's death and later informed Rose Tyler about it, the Slitheen impersonating Asquith is killed when a missile strikes Number 10. (DW: Aliens of London/World War Three)
