Talk:Regeneration energy

I'm confused by the apparent suggestion that Regeneration energy is only regeneration energy if it happens within the new series. Surely the bright effects of the classic series (the 6th Doctor's death, for instance) are also literal instances of "regeneration energy"? OS25 (Talk) 22:32, July 9, 2017 (UTC)

Yes. In Mawdryn Undead (TV story), the Fifth Doctor almost gives up his remaining regenerations. Would that not be considered usage of regeneration energy as well? ----Ebyabe (talk) 08:06, July 10, 2017 (UTC)

I think it is just the fact it is more directly referenced in the new series than it was in Classi Who. Could attempt to input it into the page, unless it comes off as too tenuous a connection (ie: did a character state x use was specifically regeneration energy?)
